The Causeway Coast is home to Royal Portrush Dunluce Links, home to the 153rd Open Championship. Northern Ireland is no stranger to hosting leading golf events, Galgorm Castle has hosted the NI Open on eight occasions as well as The Irish Open in 2020. 

Galgorm is Northern Ireland’s internationally acclaimed Spa & Golf destination and a truly stunning experience for golfers of all levels. The Galgorm Collection has taken control of the Roe Park golf resort near Limavady and the Galgorm Castle Estate near Ballymena. It intends to invest a further £22m to upgrade both properties over the next five years.

Sample Itinerary

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL

  • Check-in for 4 nights B&B at 3-star Golflinks Hotel, Portrush staying in Classic Room for single occupancy
  • Golf at Royal Portrush Valley Course - This full-length championship course played on natural seaside turf is one of the two qualifying rounds in the North of Ireland Open Championship every year. The Valley is remarkable for the fact that there are only eighteen bunkers in the entire eighteen holes, but there are plenty of natural hazards to contend with. Valley Links is consistently ranked among the top 40 golf courses in Ireland. 

DAY 2

  • Full Irish Breakfast
  • Golf at Ballycastle Golf Club Sitting just yards from the shoreline of the Causeway Coast, this is some of the most scenic golf in Northern Ireland. With a mixture of historic parkland holes and wild links golf set amongst undulating natural dunes and stunning panoramic views. On a clear day you can even see the Mull of Kintyre and some of the western isles of Scotland.

DAY 3

  • Full Irish Breakfast
  • Golf at Galgorm Castle Championship CourseNorthern Ireland’s premier tournament venue; home to the NI Open and 2020 Irish Open. Located at the gateway to the stunning Antrim coast, where the rivers Maine and Braid come into play on many holes of the Championship Castle Course.

  • Golf at Roe Park - Parkland course nestled in the heart of County Londonderry, with Lough Foyle and the Inishowen Peninsula as its backdrop.
